Illinois Parliament voted to amend a law on January 19 that would allow medical providers to voluntarily enter the public domain into a “vaccination data registry.”
Illinois House price 4244 may amend the state Immunization Data Registry Act so that “health care providers, physician or physician-appointed providers” provide the Illinois Department of Health with confidential medical information and vaccination profiles of any Illinois resident.
“Health care providers, doctor-appointed, or doctor-appointed they will (not) provide information about vaccines to be included in the vaccination data registry, ”the ruling said.
The amendment would repeal the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, which protects “all identifiable health information” from being disclosed without patient consent and violates the 1974 Right of Privacy Act., which prohibits the disclosure of personal information without the consent of the person.
This standard guarantees that people who want their vaccination removed from the registry may request a “disapproval of the vaccine,” but it does not specify what is required for a resident to be excluded.
According to HB 4244, vaccinated forms must contain the following:
(1) Disclosure of the vaccine data registry and its purpose. (2) To the health care provider they will report vaccine data to the Department for inclusion in the vaccination data registry. 3) That the patient or the patient’s parent or guardian, if the patient is under 18 years of age, has the right to release the vaccine data to the registry and may prevent the disclosure by signing the vaccination data removal form. (4) That the patient or the patient’s parent or guardian, if the patient is under 18 years of age, may have the person’s information removed from the vaccination database. (5) Suggestions for how to remove this information. ”
Democrat Rep. Bob Morgan enacted the law on January 5 and if enacted it will come into force on January 1, 2023.
