Abhishek Bachchan’s social comedy Dasvi was released today on an OTT platform. The actor received critical acclamation for his acting. The movie also touched upon numerous social issues and put them in perspective, but kept the comedy alive. Apart from Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur also play key roles in the movie.
Amitabh Bachchan is his son’s biggest cheerleader. The proud father has been actively promoting Dasvi on his social media. When a few netizens started questioning his gesture, he had the perfect reply. The senior actor, who is in Delhi, responded on his Twitter that he will continue to applaud his son’s work publically.
His tweet read, “Ji haan huzoor main karta hu: badhai, prachar, mangalachar. Kya kar loge? (Yes sir, I do share congratulations, promotions, invocations !!! What will you do)? “Previously Amitabh had shared the link for the trailer of Dasvi on his Twitter account. In the caption, he had quoted his late father, writer , and poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan. It read “Mere bete, bete hone se tum mere uttradhikari nahi hoge. Jo mere uttradhikari honge, wo mere bete honge – Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Abhishek, tum mere uttradhikari hoge, bus keh diya to keh diya (My son, you will not be my heir just because you are my son. My heir will be my son – Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Abhishek, you will be my heir, I have said it. “
In a response to this, Abhishek Bachchan tweeted “Love you Pa, always and eternally.” This social media exchange remains proof that the strong father-son bond will remain unaffected by Twitter trolls.
